Dear Quentin,

I read the letter from the reader who only flies first class due to what he says are declining standards — less legroom. Airlines have lowered their services and standards, and I have had to make big changes to how I fly.

Airline passengers at times are crammed into buses, often in blistering heat, without air conditioning, having to endure painful wait times, while bored ground staff frolic around, oblivious to the plight of the poor souls who pay for their salaries.
