Beleaguered digital-media company Vice Media is preparing to file bankruptcy, the New York Times reported late Monday.
Citing two sources with knowledge of Vice’s operations, the Times reported a bankruptcy filing could happen in the coming weeks, adding that the company is also seeking a buyer and may avoid bankruptcy if it can find one. According to the Times, at least five companies have expressed interest in acquiring Vice, but the chances of a sale are looking increasingly slim.
